    @voz, as long as you have lived there I'm surprised you haven't found a viable alternate route, not nessesarilly shorter but one that doesn't get buggered like 40 does

    against my better judgement I bought this at BAssPro, I wanted the griddle that came with the side burner. I've had a Brinkmann grill before and it rusted out fairly quickly, this one is true to form, the burners are almost trashed, the heat plates have rusted away ( I made new ones ) the burner support rails are rusted out. it's 2 years old this month.
    While I don't expect them to last forever, I've gotten 3-4 years out of previous CharBroil Grills, and the last Brinkmann I had with CAST IRON burners, the burners rusted out in 18months and they pulled the " limited life time" crap and that they had to be "seasoned regularly"

    I/we cook on the grill almost every night, "seasoning" shouldn't be an issue nor should rust. only thing that keeps us from grilling is high wind, hard rain might slow us down a bit
