Thermacell is legit. They have some handheld ones too if you don't want a lantern. We use it hunting and have looked at getting some just for around the house/yard

 

It's funny they say it's a 15 foot x 15 foot zone of protection, or 225 square foot. You'd think it would be a 15ft radius...

Excursions have not been made by Ford since 2012 I think, they decided the trucks were hitting them hard enough on the CAFE ratings and dropped the line. They're popular with a select group (?!?) now a company is buying up salvaged EXs and rebuilding f-250-350 trucks as Excursions under Fords graces.
They run the cost of the truck and the cost of the conversion, so about twice what a regular Ex would cost

The last excursion was produced on September 30th 2005, for 2007. According to the intraweb. Then the expedition replaced them

The '12 was a WAG on my part as I didn't know exactly when. Just knew they quit and folk still want them ( you can get a Duramax in a Suburban too, if you got the coin)
