I haven't gotten around to drilling and mounting them. Should be doing it tomorrow. They're awesome!

We should have a meet after the new year. I'll hopefully be booked with my new job from February - August if it works out. I have a 29 week period there where I won't be able to do much. After that, I'll be pretty free like any other job. I'd love to meet up again before that and maybe even offroad a bit. That'd be awesome.

I live in alabama but am currently in Maryland with my tuck visiting family and friends.

Looking to sell my Jason's Camper shell for a long bed 2nd gen Tacoma. It's speed way blue, has sliding screen windows on each side, locking rear window with one key, Rihno commercial rack and track installed on it, LED rear brake light, and center window behind the cab. in Good condition, has some scratches from moving it around and storing it in my garage. overall very nice.

    Looking for $750
please contact me via txt or email 4437669835 acallage@hotmail.com

I will be in MD until saturday and then am driving back to Alabama. If you are close enough along my route on the way back in one of the states I cross through I have no problem meeting up and helping you put it on your truck.

link is of the route I will be taking back this weekend. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=goog...F-8&ei=1uXBUqO8I7S2sATvs4G4DQ&ved=0CAoQ_AUoAg

I could use a little help if anyone in the Raleigh area has trailers available I would love to hook my truck up and see if my wiring harness works with YOUR trailer. I have a SE Toyota wiring harness on my truck, and it tests great with a multimeter, but will not light up the trailer with LED's that I use infrequently. I don't need to borrow the trailer, I just want to see if I could make the lights work, it would be awesome if I could find a couple (another with LED, and one with incandescent lights) I am off work Fri, Sat, and Sun. If ya have a trailer with a flat 4 connector, and a few minutes, I would be VERY GRATEFUL! thanks! Unfortunately Fred Anderson staff have been NO HELP with this problem. : (

I don't have a trailer. Is this your trailer or someone elses i.e. are you sure the trailer wiring is good? I'm available almost anytime to help out and can track down most wiring issues.

I sort of got this issue somewhat resolved. I popped in to the U-Haul in Garner today, they were kind enough to allow me to hook up to a couple of trailers with both incandescent, and LED lights. Everything worked just fine... as for why the trailer at the dealership DIDN'T work with my truck and did with the F150 sitting next to it remains a mystery..

So you need to redo the wiring on "your" trailer. :gossip: you never answered my post about it.

Hey Tim do you think you could post the photos you took of the AAL install the other night? I'd really love to add them to my build page. Thanks man!

No worries. Those other photos are really good quality compared to my iPhone camera.

Did you figure out if that noise was your U-Joint? When our tahoe's needed replacing it made a loud "clunk!" noise at the back axle when put into reverse. And it made some other terrible noises... I know I replaced the U-Joint at the rear differential and I think I replaced the one at the T-Case for the rear drive shaft as well. Whatever I did pretty much fixed the problem. Later on the T-Case started to sound like a can of marbles... Never gave up on us though.

Oh and remember me questioning which way the rear blocks went the other night? Well on that tahoe I put 3" angled rear blocks on (and cranked the torsion bars up) and I'm pretty darn sure I put them on backwards, because I switched them to see which way looked better but eventually just left it one of those ways and drove it as it was. Maybe the leafs were worn out... but either way it had severe axle wrap for about three months from the time I put those on until we sold it. The guy we sold it to has had it for at least 3 years now and told us that he was coming down i95 about two months ago and some lady cut him off... He slammed on the brakes and the rear axle came completely off the truck  Glad to know that we installed my Tacoma's correctly lol.... Everything wound up being fine with him and his tahoe and he got it put back together. Apparently he still drives it lol.

Yea I'm not a fan of Blocks, my brother had a lifted Chevy truck. The axle came right out from under it too. Now he has a Tacoma ;)!

Yea I got under and checked and the front 2(on the rear driveshaft) are slinging grease but look good, the rear one has lots of play, and I think it's dry even though I just greased them the other day. I ordered 3 Federated #354 from RockAuto and this Center Support Bushing from driveshaftparts. GOD HELP ME on advice from BGR.

Oh wow. Dang. Common Chevy problem I guess then... now I don't feel so bad lol.

Hmmm... Yeah I guess it does sound like your U-joints then. Those sound like beefier-than stock parts. What is BGR?
