Yeah I have to trim the front a tad so that doesn't happen and my exhaust dumps begin the axle so I shouldn't have to worry about melting them. Thanks for the thought though.

I see the theme you are going for, not my thing but looks cool, i have found that with my mods now, I really try to do stuff that no one else has, not easy considering the sheer amounts of variations of any particular mod that i see on TW, good job man!

I would imagine red forward facing lights might not be very well received by the men (and women) who drive cars with flashing lights.

those are a great way to go for an aftermarket flap that will hold up better to wheeling than hard plastic ones. I used to have the Sparco equivelant. Much cheaper, but they don't handle the cold as well. get them down below 15-20 degrees and they like to crack. otherwise they were great flaps. I cut out some pieces of aluminum flat bar and contoured them to the flaps to weigh them down a little better. they are painted black in this picture. Picture is about 5 years old. I took them off shortly after the picture.

Good to know. I guess this winter I will find out how they hold up in the cold.

I've heard the rally armor flaps are a lot more tolerant of cold temperatures. supposedly they don't get brittle as quickly as the Sparcos. For the extra cost, i would assume they are better quality as well. My advise is just don't kick a flap caked with snow to clean them off

Which ones are those? I don't see tacoma specific flaps on their website.

I like the look a lot, I'm a big fan of the rally style.

they won't have tacoma specific. you'll have to order a universal set or ones that look to be the proper size, and then cut them and punch holes in them to fit your needs. same process with the sparcos.

Had them on my STi. I definitely wouldn't describe them as flexy. I thought they were quite stiff. More flex than stock tacoma flaps, but still probably stiff enough to do damage off road.

They are the universal UR mud flap which is the shorter version flap. They were $100 for all 4. And I had to make my own holes.

Did you have the Motorsport spec ones??? Because those are stiffer than the universal ones.
