Rally stripes..

I wasn't being factitious! I was looking for my childhood car: a Buick Century Station Wagon. And maybe racing stripes? I dunno. But, cool! Also, back then you could throw your children in the back with some pillows and not get a ticket. And your kids turned out alright. Maybe...

 

Dodge painjob? Not my jam, but seems like it would fit in here just fine with all the wannabe ford raptors floating around this site.

There's definitely one on here that a sales manager (I think) built for his dealership and it looked awesome.

I think it looks cool, but I wouldn't necessarily want it on my truck. I do have some "stickers" on the side of my truck though. Wife got them for me, and I really like them. But i'm sure a lot of people don't!

 

There is a white 2nd gen around town with blue cobra stripes.. err not my bag, but good on you for being unique.

 

I share with many in here:
I like it, and it would turn my head. I do like tastefully done body design. I have double pinstripe black lineage running just above the lower cap line on my canopy.
But what you show here... I wouldn't want for me.
I've thought long and hard about the hood (satin black on white truck). The cons outweigh the pros tho. I like individuality.

 

reminds me of my old dodge ram SS....looks good. would like to see it on a 3rg Gen.

 

We spent a few hours plasti-dipping "racing stripe" on a buddies Jeep a few years back. It was off center of the hood, and it lined up with the 3rd member on his offset diff ( I think front diff if I remember correctly). He wanted it there to help him navigate over obstacles without damaging his diff. The stripe looked good. we had nice clean lines and it looked really great. If it were on a Shelby. It looked so out of place on the wrangler, but he kept trying to convince himself it looked good. He peeled it off within a month.

 

3 stripes and you're out!
