    Had looked at them just was not sure the 9/16 ball from ram mount would fit and be secure in the charger which is designed for 17mm which is slightly bigger.

    If you do glue that charger on make sure you peel off the ram logo thing that hides the screws, I think it'll stick out too far or not sit flat if you don't.

    Got mine mounted this last weekend. I love it. I mounted both brackets because I didn't know which side I was going to want to use and didn't want to have to do it again. The mount is super solid and will definitely hold my classic iPod securely. I did have to position the mount about as far as I could to the passenger side to still allow for easy shifting to 5th gear (because MTFTMFW) but it still fits. I did have to take a Dremel to the back side of the dash panel for the backing plate but it was pretty easy to do (sorry I didn't take any pics of this). You can see in the pics how far everything sits from the face of the dash. It's really the small things that make me happiest, especially when they work so well.

    This looks like a cool product. I've had a Panavise mount installed since I got my truck in 2014, and it works perfectly for my needs. If I was doing it all over again I'd consider this for sure.

    I'm glad your happy and thank you for the kind words.

    Don't take your dash apart but if you can describe where you had interference I would love to know so I can fix it. There has been some variation in the shape of the backing plates based on the material I had on my stock rack. If anybody else had issues with them that they can't resolve PM me and I'll replace them (once we figure out were the interference is.) I want to stand behind my work and make sure everyone is content.
