I've got the metal sticker thing stuck behind my Otter Box Commuter plastic case. I haven't had it fall off of the Scosch mount. The bigger RAM mag mount is even stronger.

I have a magnet mount and it's perfect. $10 from Amazon. Don't need two hands to take a phone off and on which can get annoying. I've been off-roading with it and it doesn't budge at all. Also, it's on a ball too so it can swivel up, down, left right which is great. I'll try and take a video of it tomorrow.

I currently have the suction cup mount from Scosche. I've had to hit some big ass bumps for the phone to budge. I've used a Lifeproof and other cases on top of/in between the 2 magnets with no issue. I like the one hand on/off without having to realease anything like the x-mounts etc

Didn't he mention something about having a diving incident that required the use of a hyperbaric chamber? Maybe he is taking it easy/recovering after that?

These mounts are my favorite mod so far to my truck! My phone has a home now! No more sitting in my lap falling in the crack or sitting in the console. Buy a set you won't regret it

I have the last one $15.98 one, and works perfect. Not sure of the differences between the other ones you listed.

the M10 threads arne't going to work with something threaded 1/4-20 :p

and someone said, the one with the hex nut didn't work with this mount. I ended up with the Tech-Deck, which uses a completely different RAM ball, bolted down with two M3 panhead screws.

Correct. Using 2 hands to grab your phone would get annoying after awhile. That's why I have the magnet. So much more convenient.
