    Man this install has not gone well for me.. literally just did the same thing myself. Also somehow broke one of those yellow clips that hold the speedo cluster bezel in place. Local Toyota didn't have them in stock so now I have to find some online hopefully.

    Oh and one more thing for those of you who are OCD, the ring bezels around the HVAC controls scratch reallyyy easy..

    Oh I broke one of the yellow clips that holds the bezel on and then also broke one of the white posts that hold the HVAC controls but I put it back together and everything is fine even if a little broken

    have you ever thought about making a model that is compatible with the flyzeye designs led lighting? I ended up making my own but just a thought for other opportunities.

    The coin holder pocket thing to the left of the HVAC controls has four of those clips on it. Pretty easy to rob a few from there until the replacements get shipped.

    Other than those few hiccups Im loving these things. Super low profile which is awesome compared to most other options on the market!

    I’m going to show you peeps such an easy way to do this with only drilling 2 holes per side a little bigger than needed. I did one side in about 20 minutes after removing the stereo surround. Then said fuck that, and bought the smallest toggle bolts I could find. Then shortening the bolts and voila. I’ll try to take pics when I do the other side later in the week.

    Dont think anything else will be as strong as what was provided though. If you off-road your truck at all probably worth the time to do the full install.

    So I marked the 2 holes, drilled out with a 3/8 drill bit. Then used 2 toggle bolts, then while pulling the mount towards me. I kept tension on the toggle behind the plastic and it snuggled up nicely and is rock solid. Just took me 16 minutes tops to do the passenger side. I can make a video of you like so you don’t have to pull your whole dash apart for 2 little mounts.
