So I installed this monster laptop stand in my truck, and removed actually laptop trap, and in its place I'm using Hondo Garage's Big Squeeze Tablet Mount. There is nothing to say about the Big Squeeze. Its phenomenal. IMO, the XGrip sucks, and the Tab-Tite sucks, so I spent the extra coin and got something I know is stable.
I believe a few other members are also running this Ram Mount, as it is specifically for Tacoma vehicles. The only thing I found necessary was to add one of the stabalizer feet (RAM-FOOT2) to dull down the vibrations. So, after I installed the foot, I found that the vibration still exists. It seems to be at the joint where the 1.5" ball would connect. (See image with yellow arrows). I'm wondering if I should make a gasket to fill in the small gap. I'm also wondering if anyone who runs this mount has had the same experience.
Lastly, I did this because I wanted to use my Galaxy Tab S3 in my vehicle, and not a full fledged laptop. I'd love to have a Surface in my truck, but I can't justify spending that much after I spec it out. This is a great Android tablet. Nice display. Fast. Got it through Verizon.

PS. I start a new job Tues.
