EDIT: So after 7 weeks of BS, lies, deceit, and switching dealerships, I now have a new Tacoma. Long story short, what the first dealership told me they could get was bs. The second dealership basically said with everything going on in Japan as well as the retooling for the 2012 year, I maybe possibly might end up with what I wanted by the end of August. Maybe. So I dropped most of my preferences and ended up with a new 2011, double cab, trd off-road, AT in Pyrite Mica. And I must say, very happy :)

Ended up with $1750 under invoice with USAA pricing, $1000 off for being a recent college grad, $300 sales tax (gotta love SC), and I got the dealer to add Blue-tooth to the truck, so I'm pretty happy with the deal.

Last thing before pics, stay FAR FAR FAR away from Toyota of Newnan, GA. I stopped counting after 30 phone calls. Never once received a call back for anything. WORST customer service I've ever had. Now, the truck.

Hadn't seen any pictures of the rear seats being folded. I thought this was a pretty cool feature of the truck...

Here's a couple pictures from my first exploration of the SC/NC mountains the first weekend I had the truck. If anyone is in the area and has any suggestions.... ;)

The good and bad thing about the color is that it hides dirt. Good for making it look clean, bad for trying to show the dirt off :p

Waiting to burn thru these and then I'll bump up to BFG All-Terrain KO. Thanks Michelin :D

Hi yall. I've been following posts on TW for quite a few months now but finally decided I could join in good faith since I pulled the trigger today on a new '11.

Pertinent Details: '11 Double Cab V6 Standard with TRD Off-Road 4x4. Timberland green w/JBL, roof rack, drl

Apparently this is a super rare combination so it had to be ordered. Now the waiting game. Still, I'm pretty happy with the deal at $1500 under invoice with USAA's car buying scheme.

I'm a recent mechanical engineering graduate of Georgia Tech and I know I saw a climpsun fan around here somewhere with a timberland... :D But at least we can agree on our truck. All the info everyone has put up has been a great help in the car buying process. I'm looking forward to talking with everyone and hopefully being a useful addition to the forums.

    Cheers
