Fortunately I don't have that problem. My significant other drives a 4Runner and is under the impression that 4x4 is necessary for the winter where we live. No Prius here!

Up your way she's probably right. I went up to The Soo so often for work for a while that the client made me an honorary Yooper. Winters up there were not fun. I had the same experience living in northern Vermont for 10 years, but now I have no such excuse in south Florida. The Taco was bought with the specific purpose of being able to tow my Honda Goldwing, and she just can't relate even though there was no way a Rav4 was going to tow anything. Just different mindsets I guess. It's ok though, I'll keep her

Well, to be fair, I used to drive a mustang even in the winters. I guess, in a way, it gave me a respect for winter and I still only use 4x4 when I really need it. I love the UP, even in the winter!

My wife threw a code in the Walmart on Black Friday.
I had to try all three OBDII ports before I got the code to clear.

Wait till that wife has to take her Prius in to get replacement batteries. Then He can ask her "how much did THAT cost?"

And how long have you been happily married? And if you are, is your wife happily married too? :p

Truth. Except they last a really long time. As in NYC taxi service long.

OP said he got home on fumes and could barely make it up the driveway. Sounds like fuel pump was already acting up. And then he said he changed the fuel pump, with no mention of the hassle to drop the tank. I vote this whole thing is a troll.

But then again she has to drive a prius. My wife owns the Tacoma in our family. I always say how many smiles per gallon you get is better than miles per gal.

If you could get a scanner plugged in....it would show all the codes and all the codes would conflict. Trouble shooting would be impossible.

Best is to replace the trouble with a good loyal dog.

It has been said. To discover who loves you the most, wife or dog. Just lock them in the garage for 8 hours. Then let them out. Only one will be happy to see you.:rofl::rofl:

They are under warranty for 150,000 miles. I will be waiting a while for that one.

Hmmm. That's not what I have read and heard, but great if it happens. From what I have read and heard, they pretty much last for about 100,000 miles or 10 years before needing to be replaced, at a cost of several thousand dollars.
Damn! I like that last line! Really great and profound!

Back on track with this thread. Did it ever start? We're waiting on pins and needles here.
Bad gas? (No wonder that gas was so cheap. It was the water hose.)
Diesel fuel doesn't seem to work in a gas engine?

How'd you manage to get a wife with a 150k warranty?
