Well I got pretty impatient the other day. And didn’t want to make the entire circle so decided to run over bumper block and somewhat decent size curb. Well bumper block was not an issue but coming down the curb with my rear tires I felt a clunk or noise like I hit the bottom of behind the truck but for sure did not hit bottom of the truck there is no way.
I am curious what the noise was and is the truck fine?

also should I not make a habit of running over curbs left and right?

I drive over the curb and island at my dealership when my truck arrived. the sales guy asked what I was doing from the passenger seat. I said I need to make sure it could handle the mall parking lot.

Maybe get out of your truck and look at it???

I looked. Didn’t find any damage and truck drives fine.
Shouldn’t have done it but it’s in past. Wanna make sure if everything is fine or should I take it to the dealer for inspection.

Here is the official rule, section 10, subsection 4.3 paragraph 3 of the Official 4wd handbook:

"You can run over anything you wish in your 4wd vehicle, however, be prepared to suffer and pay for the result of your actions."

Wh the fuck knows what you did. I don't do stuff I don't know about.

Most likely fine, I’d guess you just found the bump stops and their purpose. Especially if you had something heavier than a gym sock in the bed.

Judging by the noise you describe, it sounds like you rolled over about an eight pointer. Have your dealer inspect for a hoof lodged above the leaf springs.

Or, lesson learned, truck’s fine, call it a day.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks

Did you go over with both wheels on an axle at the same time?

Did you ease the wheels off the curb, or just let it plop down?

If yes to either or both, I suggest you never never ever take that vehicle off road.
