Idiot in big rig blew thru a construction zone on the freeway so a cone got spit out right in front of me. Did a quick glance (at work now) and didnt see anything right away but is there a chance I damaged anything? What should I look out for

Edit for those who don't want to read thru the shit storm lol, skidplate did its job. Drive safe everyone

If there’s nothing glaringly obviously broken, you’re alright. At most the cone would break something cosmetic, like some plastic. You didn’t do any structural damage or anything.

Look to see if there are any construction workers stuck under the truck.... other than that, you should be fine, maybe a broken clip on the bumper.

Idiot blew through a construction zone? Or was the idiot the guy behind him who couldn't react in time?

Anyway, it's a rubber cone, you're fine as far as the truck goes.

Are you one of those idiots that's scared to pass a semi and instead drives slightly behind them, one lane over, for 70 miles?

Uh, I’d look out for whatever the cone was there to warn you about.

No not possible when you are going with the flow of traffic. Do you always drive with no one ever to your left or right ever?? I didn't think so

If you have never been in that situation please keep your comments to your self. I live in Montana and there are alot of times you are stuck and cant go anywhere. There is no out alot of times. I'm sorry if you take this personal but it is the truckers fault for clipping the cone and sending it flying in front out this OP... My father was a trucker and I also drove them a bit as a Mechanic.

So your rotten comment is not needed sir....... Sorry Everyone for being a fick but that man really pisses me off when he wasn't in the vehicle or incident.......
