When I got home, there was green paint all over the side of my truck. I have been washing it for 3 hours, I got most of it off the body of my truck and fender wells, but my tires are another story. I have BF Goodrich all terrains that are caked in paint. Anyone have any tips?

Just drive it will flake off. At least it wasn’t highway paint. That stuff sticks good.

Use WD-40 on the painted areas then wash with a quality car was several times. Then apply carnauba wax. For the tires, try this...maybe.

It will be fine for the tires, put little a rag then pressure wash. I got road paint on my tires years ago it does no damage to the tires.

I’d think it would come off with some driving on gravel or sand or Offroad of some kind. Or remove them and get after it with some kind of paint thinner or something

anything on rubber should be able to be scratched off, unfortunately that will mean removing rubber as well...

    spraying it black is funny...

i would try an ice cube, might help you it scratching the paint flakes off... kinda like the trick moms use when you get gum in your hair :anonymous:

driving out on a beach could help, sand being an abrasive

Use at your own risk then, but thinner will change the property of rubber. Probably cause it to crack and deteriorate prematurely.

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
Bug and tar remover will take it off man. Spray on, let it sit, wipe off. And then wash the truck again

    You must be new here.

Id just drive it. Rattle can paint isnt that good of stuff. Id think it would flake off on its own given enough time. Dont use any harsh chemicals on the rubber, you may not notice now but it will degrade the rubber over time.
