    Hello all, I have purchased and installed the Rancho 2.5" suspension lift on my 2013 TRD Offroad and thought I'd give some feedback on it since nobody seems to be running it. The kit comes with new coilovers (already assembled), new UCA's, differential drop spaces (front and rear), new rear shocks and 1 1/2" tapered blocks. Rancho says it gives a 2.5" lift and I'd say that's pretty accurate but I added a 1/2" top plate spacer to the driver side coilover and a 1/4" top plate spacer to the passenger side coilover so I got more then the 2.5"s. The shocks are Ransho's adjustable shocks and they are pretty nice, I can't compare the ride to any other of the lifts available (ULK, OME, Billies w/ Eibachs's, etc) because I've never ridden in a Taco with those lifts, all I've rode in is stop Tacos. I have my shocks in the middle range (5) and they are just as smooth and ride just as good as the stock suspension (maybe even a little better) so over all I am pretty happy with it. The only thing I will change is the rear blocks and that's only because the rear end is sitting a little lower then the front because of the top plate spacers, so I will probably put in a 2" block and then it will look better in my opinion. I did measure from ground to fender both before the lift and after the lift, the before the lift measurements are;

    DF= 34 7/8
    PF= 35 1/4
    DR= 36 1/2
    PR= 36 5/8
    [IMG]

    And the measurements after the lift;

    DF= 38
    PF= 38 1/2
    DR= 37 3/4
    PR= 38 1/8
    [IMG]

    I can't compare the Rancho UCA's with other after market ones either because again I have experience with them but these are built very well and the alignment guy said he had absolutely zero issues with aligning the truck after the lift was installed. Over all I think this is a very nice and comfortable lift for an everyday driver and it is half the price then the other lifts that are available with new UCA's. My only complaint is with Rancho's customer service, I had to call them and they were absolutely unconcerned about helping and making sure things were fixed, other then that I'm happy. Any questions and feedback are welcomed, thanks for your time.

    Thanks for feedback. I've been looking at the Rancho lift quite a bit. I like that it comes with the UCAs. I can see that Rancho catches a lot of crap here, but I've had the RS5000 and RS9000 shocks on trucks in the past and have always been happy with them; even with a lot of off-road time. What size tires are you running?

    I'll second that.
    Always liked Rancho suspensions.
    I'm also wondering why I don't see many people here using them.
    Everything is Billies and OME:notsure:
    I was considering this package, but I wanted to swap out the blocks for leaf springs for the needed lift and additional weight I carry and for towing.
    All-Pro, Dakar, East Coast Gear, and even Sky Jacker offer springs that should fit the bill

    I'm running 265/75/16's......I am happy with the lift so far but as stated above I am looking into going to a different route for the rear and take the blocks out. I really want a full new leaf packet but will probably settle with an AAL

    I've also been thinking about putting in an AAL rather than the blocks to get the additional towing capacity and bed capacity. I put one of my ATV's in the back quite a bit during hunting season and it really squats the back with the stock 3 leaf pack. I'll probably wait until Ranch does this annual sale which should easily offset the cost of the separate AAL.

    I've been looking more and mor at the 265-75/16's. About the right additional size and hopefully not be too big that it will cause rubbing when going off road.

    The last time I had a Tacoma, internet forums weren't that big yet. I used Rancho stuff and BFG T/A's with little worry on my jeeps, tacoma, expedition, F-350; and I use my trucks off road frequently. They've always been good to me. I am sure the other setups are really good to, but I'll probably stick with what I'm comfortable with.

    I like the rancho suspension but hey are very pricey.

    Glad to hear you like it. This is the route I am REALLY leaning towards since it comes with the UCA's. My only concern is added weight to the front since I plan to get a replacement bumper after my wallet recovers from the lift...probably an ARB. I sent a question in regarding this lift and added weight on the 4WP website, we will see. Thanks for posting this!

    I am currently running Cooper Discoverer ATP's in this size on my stock suspension and am not rubbing. They look a little "stuffed" but don't rub. I think it will look just right ~2 1/2" higher.

    How much did this end up costing? Did you purchase online or local?

    Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    If you want it all, just go with IronMan 4x4 full kit. Its less than 900 shipped and you get rear leafs with it instead of rear blocks. I mean, Rancho is ok if you don't mind blocks in the rear or want to find your own rear leaf packs...

    I got mine on here from another member (Zeiden), it was brand new and I got for $950 shipped. The blocks in the rear aren't enough lift since I have the Toytec top plate spacers on the coilovers so I just ordered an AAL from wheelers Offroad, so that is an additional $80.

    Sorry I'm not a suspension genius lol, in the rear there are two spacers that go in to drop something to prevent vibrations. Don't know what it's called, sorry

    The two spacers are for front diff drop. not rear. Most say no need for them, on 2nd gen's. It's your option if you want to install.

    Naw man there are two for the front and two for the rear. There is a metal U shaped part that goes around the rear part of the drive shaft maybe ? Well the two spacers for the rear goes there, that's why I said drop spacers for front and rear
