For the mall, 100% Fox. Ask for extra stickers, too.

For a smooth ride, go with Fox. A guy I work with got a 3” lift with Fox shocks on his 3rd Gen TRD Sport. We took it out on our break, went over potholes, train tracks, and speed bumps and it was like they weren’t even there. Definitely a big difference from the Bilsteins on my 2nd Gen Off Road. I can’t speak for the quality of ride while off road, because I haven’t personally experienced them (Fox), but they are a world of difference for every day driving.

His truck is a double cab short bed. Like mine. But he had a 2nd Gen Single Cab Short Bed with a 3” lift and it looked damn good. Rode like a wagon (didn’t have Fox shocks), but looked good. The ride has to do with the quality of shocks. I’m sure you could find Fox shocks that wouldn’t lift you much and give you a much better quality of ride. But like I said, I’m only speaking from my limited experience with Fox and Bilstein. You don’t have to lift it, or get bigger tires, I was just using his truck as an example. Generally speaking, a lift almost always sacrifices ride quality. So the fact that he got a lift and it rides like a dream speaks volumes for Fox
