I am considering these Rancho QuickLift Struts. Does anybody have any experience with these? I don't really do any hard off roading just looking for a better stance/lift.

Also Rancho doesn't list these for 4Runners but I dont see why they wouldn't work on the 3rd Gen 4Runner,

    TIA for responses

Does the job just to 'lift the truck' but if you have other plans they're not so good.

Rancho Quick lift. Wheelers Off Road Progressive AAL with Rancho RS9000's, braided brake lines & clutch line. BFG 32x11.50 15 All Terrain Tires Deck Plate Mod. Flowmaster 60 series muffler and Marlin Crawler Short Throw Shifter.
I put them on my truck about a year ago, I don't do any serious 4 wheeling nowadays, just the occasional fire road and driving to the mall and going over speed bumps and they are working great so far. I originally had the Rancho 5000 and the stock springs and top hats for about 20 years and took them off road and they seemed to be okay. I bought the Quicklifts for my because I needed new springs and the top hats and it was way cheaper and easier to install as a whole unit rather than getting out the spring compressor and putting it together. I'm getting lazy in my old age!

I have them on my 2004 double cab along with the adjustable rear shocks. My goal was was to have adjustable for towing. Only bad experience is that the adjustment mechanism rusts. So here in Wisconsin with salt I added a bit of marine grease to the mechanism.

I like the ability to increase dampening for towing and turning down for a decent on road ride.

    Thank you for the replys.

Can anyone confirm if the top hats differ from Tacoma to 4Runner?

I found this from some 4runner sites but I haven't validated. I purchased my Rancho struts via rockauto when rancho had a rebate.

Toytec website lumps the BOSS coilovers together for 3rd Gen 4runner and 1st Gen Tacoma. The rancho do provide about an inch of lift on a Tacoma as a leveling strut.

The 4runner guys might have better info.

I’m looking at rancho quicklift coil overs and rear shocks for my 3rd gen Tacoma (RWD) to accommodate a steel plate bumper (fab fours premium) with winch (~200LBS) I feel that the stock shocks aren’t loaded enough for this added weight, would these be sufficient?

Also Im considering just a pair of front old man emu 886 ome 2” lift coil overs since I don’t plan on doing any serious off roading just dampening the front end for normal driving and moderate country roads

I would not use the rancho quick lift with a steel ate bumper. These are just for leveling and dampening control

Rancho can provide spring rate if you contact them, but weight will drop the front end from level.
