OH! No coils with that...now I see where the price I was coming up with comes from. I've only been looking at complete kits. I'm assuming its not a terrible idea to replace my coils with 115k on them?

This. I built up a '89 Isuzu Trooper back in the day. Rancho 9000's were THE shock at that time (98-02), and served me very well. I was away from trucks for a while, and have been surprised at how little I hear about them now. I think the industry has just exploded and there are so many well engineered options that have raised the bar....

Ranchos were everywhere back in the day.

This. In the 90's having a "doubled up" Rancho was very common...

You’ll want lift coils if you’re running 5100s

Unless you are stuck on those two brands why not skip a step and go with Fox 2.0's and know you did better than the two you are looking at . I have yet to see someone not be happy with them and many are exbilstein owners.

Just from a very quick search, so I'm sure I didn't find the best price, but it looks like Fox 2.0s are about $600-$800 more than then entire bilstein setup, depending on what you want. That would be my main reason.

I’m running the Rancho setup been on for 3 years and about 45000 miles. No issues gave me almost 3 inches in front. Set both front and back at 4 of course I don’t tow anything. Rides good in my opinion. Only real off-roading I do it getting to good hunting spots, some of those roads are pretty nasty. At the time was the cheapest way to go and was worth the money. I’m running 265/70R17 BFG KO2s never even come close to rubbing. Alignment was no problem with my truck and it tracks straight and true.
