Random Acceleration Rev?

I went to Georgia 2 weeks ago. On i75 I had to speed up to get in front of a slow car and when I passed it and let off the gas, my truck rev’d to a HIGH RPM as if it was in neutral and my foot was still on the gas. My foot was on the brake at this point but it took about a second for it to return to normal.

some people say it may have been my floor mat but that’s simply not it.

yesterday, the same thing happened. Mashed the gas, let off, and it was still revving.

Has this happened to anyone? What did you do to fix it? I have an automatic

 

Sounds like the transmission is slipping. I would definitely take it in assuming it's under warranty still.

 

Normal. It is getting stuck in 4th under heavy loads and won't upshift to 5th. Has something to do with ASIC. Try the same but driving in S mode, it will upshift to 5th and won't cause "stuck" accelerator.
Nothing you can do about, even using vF tuner is a hit and miss.

 

Make sure the throttle doesn't get stuck going through Lowndes county.

 

For some reason my buddies 2019 trd does that on occasion, like the transmission goes in-between a shift in neutral before it changes a gear. Its goofy cause my 2020 sr5 never does it. Don't now if its a software issue or his transmission is going tapioca.
