Random but what age did you get married at?

Which time? been to the altar three times, 21 first time, 30+ second time, 54 third time....I suspect I just wasn't cut out for marriage...


Whatever floats your boat, find the right partner and you will be golden no matter what age you tie the knot...

 

Married at 26 and just got past the 1 year anniversary. We dated for 7 years and lived together for 4 years so we knew what life would be like once we got comfortable with each other.

Question for you guys that didn't work out. How long were you dating before you got hitched? Did you get past the whole romance period and truly become yourselves? It took us about two years before I could really let my guard down and both trust her completely and become myself (the guy I am around my friends) with her.

Met in high school, dated 1 year and then went to college together.
I transfered and we dated 3 years doing long distance.
I lived with my parents for 2 year and we dated in the same city.
She said "shit, or get off the pot" so i proposed.
We moved in together for 1 year before marriage.

Got married at age 26 and will be married 3 years this march.

 

Got married at 22, which was young.

This was not a bad thing as I had my fun early on and when I did marry I made sure it was with the right person. We are best friends and actauly love to spend time together vs apart, which seems rare with most couples these days.
