Random engine misfire? On a 2018 Trd sport

    I’m going to stick with it until the warranty runs out. I’m more worried about things happening outside of the warranty period. They aren’t building them like the 1st and 2nd gen unfortunately. A new engine is like 2-4k pre Covid for a 2nd gen. I don’t know if I can stomach 5-10k on a new motor if something goes wrong.

    I don’t trust the 4th gen just yet. I tend to avoid a platform until the work the kinks out. The new ones got way too many electronics and the techs at the dealerships are just barely catching up. Like I tell a lot of people, in the future you’ll need a comp sci degree to work on cars.
