    Hey TW,

Seems I'm randomly getting a P0157 code on a few, but not all, of my 20-30 mile shakedown drives on my newly 6-speed swapped DCLB.

Both of the driver and passenger side post-cat 02 sensors appear to be snuggly plugged in and at least look undamaged, including the connectors and wiring harnesses at the sensors. I was careful not to pinch the main wiring harness during this process but I guess anything is possible.

Just reaching out to get recommendations on steps to take to solve this one as I've never diagnosed an issue with an O2 sensor before.

    Thanks!

Can you switch them side to side? Are the connectors the same?

If yes, switch them and see if the code follows to the other side

Make sure the truck harness is going to the correct o2 sensors. My rear ones were accidentally swapped after a clutch job and I had the same issue but it would switch from side to side intermittently. Finally found the harness swapped after looking at wiring diagrams

Awesome thanks fellas. There was some harness modification as a result of the swap and they may have been swapped so good call. I'll try that and see. Thanks again!

Just spent a bit of time under the truck and with everything buttoned up, am seeing that switching sensor connector sides is going to be an undertaking. The RC62 trans is pretty meaty compared to the auto tranny in our 2006. So a thought occured to me: check the 2006 DCSB for wire color orientation. Duh!

Install day of my transmisson was a whirlwind and it's been a few months but now that I crawled under our 2006 DCSB, I feel like I did that to assure proper harness orientation on install day. Either way, the wire color orientation is the same on both trucks.

Both driver's side harnesses have a blue wire, blue w/ white stripe wire, black wire, brown wire..

Both passenger side have a green wire, white wire, blue w/ white stripe, black wire.

As a result, in comparing the two trucks, seems the orientation is correct. I tried re-connecting them hoping I just didn't snick the connectors properly on install. Definitely got a positive snick on both but was bummed when I got the code again in the first 5 minutes of my trip to town today. It hasn't returned again after 30 odd miles of driving but it seems like it takes a drive cycle of some sort to trip the code.

What do you all suggest that I check next?

Are you able to monitor/graph AFR and O2 sensor activity?
