someone help here will this 2012 radio work with my 05.

 

Radio will not fit from what we know currently.

One member tried multiple times and it will not fit. A gap is left at the top of the dash sit it will not fully seat into place.

I have been tempted to purchase as well to try and make fit but the other member clearly shows it will not work without picking up other new dash pieces.

 

i cant remember but i saw one member with it in his truck...does anyone know if it will fit a 2011? if so im 100% interested

 

The pic with it in his truck shows that there is a gap which is why it was posted. He as well wanted the 2012 radio in a ealier built truck. He tried and few options but was unable to get it to install properly.

Unit will not slide in completely and also the lower HVAC controls do not sit correctly with the 2012 radio installed.

 

bummer. this is probly a long shot but has anyone heard of installing a 2012 steering wheel into an older model (2011)? I love the new steering wheels. not the grill so much
