You said it's locks, interior lights and radio right? Check the main fuse block in the engine bay, is there a common relay for all of that? What I'm thinking is that there is a problem somewhere between the battery, the main fuse block and/or the secondary fuse block inside the cab. Start with the main block, according to the diagram, which relays pertain to the problem areas? It may be possible to switch out that relay if there is another relay on that block that is the same and see if the problem then becomes the parts of the truck that you installed the (possibly bad) relay. Now you have checked ALL the fuses that pertain to your problem areas right? If you don't have a circuit tester I would get new fuses and swap them out one by one.

This is a PITA problem, you will have to go through the electrical system piece by piece until you isolate your problem. If it is not the battery or its connections, it's not the terminals or the cables, it's not the alternator, it's not the fuses or a relay then you have no choice but to call in a professional.

I appreciate the in depth reply, I just got back from Duluth tonight with my new tires and the whole trip it turned off for 5 mins total 4 times and then would work fine. I plan to start at the source with the battery checking every cable and then onto the fuses and so forth, I just bought a pioneer double din deck to install in the states so maybe that could fix the problem also. I have all day to look at this tomorrow so I am gonna crack the case for sure haha, Thanks for the help I will keep you guys updated.

The vehicle's charging system provides power for the load and charges the battery. Any shortfall in power what the charging system can not provide is made up by the battery until it is drained. Based on what you have described, you have an intermittent electrical connection or wiring failure. If it is all the electrical system at once including the engine, then clean both of the the battery terminal lugs and posts. Then clean the ground connections and check or tighten the bulkhead connector on the firewall. If this does not fix the problem, you will have to obtain an electrical diagram and troubleshoot where the voltage loss is occurring in the wiring during the failure or take your vehicle to a good auto electrical shop and have them troubleshoot the wiring and connectors.

I think you have a bad ground somewhere. Install or have anything electrical installed recently recently I would start there.
Check and clean your battery connections and grounds, I would remove one at a time, clean and reinstall.

Still working on trying to solve this problem, the stereo turns off randomly and looses complete power as all presets are gone when power returns, so I plan to replace all fuses with new ones and next would be the relays. Battery posts are tight and cables are good, I am thinking there must be a short somewhere, but I have taken off the glovebox and followed the wires and they look good. not sure where to go next anyone ? btw I am now useing a Pinoeer AVD 1400 Stereo and the problem still presists.

Seems like you have a bad ground if its cutting power to the point that your radio presets disappear. If it weren't for that I would suggest that you check your door switches as they control the items that are affected. Also could be an ignition switch/key problem but really shouldn't affect radio presets?? Is your key worn or do you have alot of weight on your keys? Do any of the 'key-on' dash lights come on when the radio and stuff start to work again?

Hello. Were you able to solve the problem?. Same thing is happening to my 2012 tacoma. When the radio, inside lights and remote stop working the air bag light comes on as well.
