Hello y'all, I have this red button and wondered if anyone knows what it could go to. I'm afraid my truck will blow up if I press it, just kidding. I'm really not sure what they go to though.

Valet mode I believe. I used to have it on mine, but it got disconnected when I got my remote start installed. Never really noticed a difference in any sort of locking or starting scenarios.

My truck had the exact button when i bought it. Pretty sure it was a dealer-installed alarm system. You can do some digging under the dash above the pedals and you should find a little control module with more info. Mine didnt work so I just disconnected everything and took it out, no issues since

Really look like alarm system indicator light. Usually blinks when it is armed

Follow the wires and check if you find the control module

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Mine didn't come with a button clearly a sign that I'm not worthy.

We're turning this into another crackpot religion right?

That button only works at 88mph... as long as your flux capacitors are working correctly.

Well it looks like in for a while ride then. The cables aren't connected so the alarm is deactivated. Thanks y'all!
