2022 SR5 V6. Bought new December 2022. 4K miles out of warranty. Yep 41k miles in 7.5 months. Seals belt alarm randomly comes on for passenger seat. Checked every connection. No loose wires. I’m totally at a loss. Last time it happened was today. 2 hours into a drive without stopping the seat belt alarm just starts going off. Had to reach over and plug seat belt in to shut the shit off. I’m stumped. Stealership wants 275 bucks just to look at it. I can drink a lot of bourbon for that. Might just drink and stare at it ( like goats). Might get me further than what I’ve gotten so far. Any input appreciated.

Are you carrying anything on that seat that might make it think there is an unbuckled passenger?

I believe there is a setting in TechStream to turn that chime off. I had a fellow member that had the software turn it off. The dealer wouldn't do it, claiming liability issues.
See if you can find a member in your area (local threads) and see if they can help you out.

Thanks. Don’t care about the light in the dash. That damn beeping will turn anyone into a serial killer. I’ll check around.

    There is an option.

Other wise, you’re going to need to diagnose the front seat occupant classification module.
I briefly looked at the data in the service manual. In short, you need a scan tool to diagnose the issue.
