So i transferred over the lighted 4x4 switch i bought from the TW member that makes them on here from my red truck to my new truck. followed my instructions exactly, but somehow i have pieces leftover...maybe. or this could have come from something else, i have no idea. Does anyone have a breakdown of the parts that make up the 4x4 switch? when i pulled my switch apart, i THOUGHT that the only piece that flew off was the large spring that goes over the shaft to the dial knob. Then i found these in my cup holder. Tiny spring and tiny ball.

    any ideas?

More than likely this is what gives the switch the "click stops" when you turn the knob. There would be a hole in the side of the knob; the spring goes in first with the ball on top. It would pop into notches around the side where the knob rotates.
