TW is addictive, I don’t have a Tacoma...in fact I’ve never owned a Tacoma. Couple of Toyota trucks from back in the day a ‘86 or was it an ‘87? and a ‘89 but that’s all the connection I have to TW, came here after short lived interest in a 3rd gen and can’t leave. Honestly at this point TW is the only reason I’d want to buy a Tacoma

I love my Tacoma. It is the best small truck on the market. Hands down

So many of these reviews are garbage. One of the main reasons I've stuck with the Tacoma over the years is reliability and resale. Factors that are rarely considered in these reviews. Extra feathers are only great if they work.

Not to get off subject, but what model year is the next-gen Taco happening? I'd love to see that compared Ranger...

That was hard to watch, I'm surprised they didn't cover what percentage of the components were vegan friendly on each truck.

    - I read numerous truck forums (Dodge, Chevy, Ford, Nissan and Toyota) for information.
    - Friends have Tacoma's.

Is it your belief that only current Tacoma owners should participate on this forum?

Because domestic midsize offerings can't compete in these areas.

The comment at 20:25 best sums up this set of reviewers.

I saw a Colorado with a Duramax diesel. I was pretty surprised to see that!

    Colorado : GM Product...nuff said!
Ranger: Ford did away with all their "cars", so bringing back the Ranger was a logical thing to do...I still don't want one!
Tacoma: On my 2nd Tacoma, and my 4th Toyota Pickup! Love 'em!

Those guys obviously didn't look in the console cubby. My 19 has 2 more USB ports in there. I also noticed they didnt go into the MTS or Crawl on the tacoma.

I'd like to see a 5 year comparison of all 3 trucks. Let's see, the Ranger will have transmission issues, the Colorado will have engine issues, not to mention various other things needing repair, and the Taco....mmmmm, still going strong with only routine oil changes.

So, I was shocked to see the Chevy's fully loaded option doesn't come with dual zone climate control. Although front and rear lockers which is definitely cooler. However, if I'm spending close to 50k on a truck it's going to have dual zone climate control! ARB's will fix my Tacoma front/rear.

Style points aside, I didn't find anything particularly inaccurate with their reporting, except for the USB thing, but as I said I value certain things more than others: offroad and reliability more than smooth highway driving. Though I don't have any quibbles with driving the Offroad on any kind of terrain including highway.

I really wanted a manual, therefore the other 2 were not even considerations. Also, I don't think the Tacoma gets enough credit for the straightforward and functional dashboard and infotainment layout. The Ranger and Colorado consoles look very cumbersome and unattractive.
