ZR2 is junk. I had a 19'. I traded last month of my OR. It had 6000 miles, zero off roading (busy with work) and over $9,000 in warranty work completed in the last 6 months. The last straw was when I went in for my first oil change last month and they kept it for 8 hrs repairing things I didn't even know were bad. I literally picked up at 5pm and drove to the Toyota dealership. By 7pm the deal was done.

It did have some cool feature like front lockers, apple car-play,etc., but overall quality was garbage. I have 2 other buddies with new ZR2's who also have a bunch of warranty work done and are strongly considering doing the same trade.

My one gripe about the Pro is the turning radius could be better when compared to other mid size like the Tacoma.
Nissan keeps claiming they will come out with a new Frontier. They just have not stated when.

That’s discouraging but not surprising. Could be worse...suppose it were a BMW or Volvo? My fiancée got a used Volvo S60 with 15K miles on it for literally half price. Not a thing wrong with it.

We had an Avalanche a few years ago which never had any problems. We, I mean my fiancée, paid right around $50K. She traded it in with 50K miles or so and got about $30K for it.

It was a pretty good truck. Too bad the Colorados don’t quite hold up to the Avalanche.

I like the complete and utter disregard she had for the mostly (front skid plate aside) unarmored chassis. She was just tearing up that hill. No spotter necessito. Kinda makes ya cringe but cool that the Tacoma put up with it nicely.

Yeah she gunned it a couple times in pretty bad places. I was really happy watching that Tacoma perform though, specially with all that "talent" behind the wheel. I think one could reach a better conclusion by simply hitting mute and watching the video!

Tacoma is proven! Best selling year in and year out. Solid platform for mods. Looks better than ALL other mid size.
Doesn’t have any issues with wrong trans fluid (Colorado/Canyon)

I watched this review and quite a few others before buying my Tacoma. The Ranger had a lot of appeal to me,however they did a poor job on the dashboard layout, all the buttons are difficult to find and see. They seem to have not thought out some the interior features. That said, if your a bigger person/taller you'll probably find the ranger to be a lot more comfortable. I just really like the proven design of the Tacoma and it's off-road capabilities. I'm sure the Ranger will be a good truck but I think they have some more refining to do with it for my requirements. Plus, never buy the first year, even though the Ranger has been sold over seas for awhile, it is still different for the US market. Coming from a FCA product I'm really hoping Toyota finally gives me the reliability I desire in a vehicle.

Wrong sir, the Tacoma is mid sized it is not small. You hurt my feelings calling it small.

    Hmmm.
Did you trade your Taco for a Ranger/Colorado/Other but you still spend time complaining about the old girl on TW?
Are you having trouble letting go?
For all those afflicted with Taco Separation Anxiety …
