Raptor light fuse help!

Hey everyone I needed some guidance on which fuse to add on my raptor lights to? I tried INJ and they remained powered unfortunately. I tested other fuses but nothing to keep them on like daytime running lights. Any ideas would be great I’ve searched for answers but nothing for my particular situation why doesn’t INJ work?!

 

I am sure the 10a ETCS will turn them ion with DRL
The 10a HLP will turn them on with headlights.

 

INJ 10A - Always On
EFI 10A - Always On; Will turn back on after 4 hours and won't turn back off until the truck is started again (avoid this one)
H-LP LH-0 / H-LP RH-LO - Turn on when headlights turn on


For DRL, you will have to tap into the DRL wireharness.

 

With the INJ... always on as in forever?dang how do people run that? Lol

PS i tried the 10 amp ETCS and it seemed to just keep them on just as INJ does thank you for the try though!

 

My raptor lights used to be piggybacked into the INJ fuse and they turn off when the engine turns off and they turn on when the engine turns on or when in accessory mode.

 

I have them tapped into the EFI 10a, the lights will be on when the truck is on and the lights will come on after the truck is off for 4 hours when the truck does a self test. The raptor lights will come on for 20 minutes and then go off after the test. I can see my truck in the parking lot, they come on and then go off.

 

I bought the drl harness from running 4 tacos, it's expensive but it's all plug and play and works perfect.

 

You can add a fuse into the low beam in the fuse box, I did that for a while. Honestly, I really didn’t the grill lights during the daytime anyways.

 

Does the INJ fuse auto turn off after 20 mins also? Is that why they stay on for me after i turn engine off and lock doors?

Are you tapping into the 10amp inj fuse? There’s another inj fuse at a much higher amperage that might be an issue

I would caution tapping into the INJ or EFI etc. the add a fuse has some leverage and can wiggle loose. I’d worry about it vibrating loose and that would shut you down. I added the add a fuse to the fuse box under the driver footwell and tapped the radio fuse. Figured worse case the radio shuts off. Just my suggestion.

They turn on and off with the DRL
