Raptor light mod?

Had a 3rd gen get behind me today rockin raptor lights in an aftermarket grill. Low and behold when he turned on his directional the raptor lights started flashing is this a thing? Or did he just tie into the wrong wire and nobody told him yet?

 

Tapped the wrong wire.

 

An added Relay can be used to select between DRL illumination and Turn Signal Flash.

 

Would be cool if they were sequential with the turns.

 

Having the entire center of your truck flash on/off to indicate turn direction would be confusing to other drivers and not advised.

 

Just when I thought the Raptor Light fad couldn't get any worse.

 

It doesn't have to be the whole assembly, there are so many different installs. Only 3, only 5. Top and bottom, and it can be show use only, for those with Mall Cop tendencies.

 

On the OR grille, you could get enough little LEDs in there to make an arrow for each direction. Imagine that rolling up behind you at night. There would be no doubt where that guy is turning...
