I recently purchased a Raptor Light Bar Grill from Tacoma Lifestyle, the install was flawless, much because of the fine video they posted on the install and the plug N play wiring harness included. BUT (big but) my TSS Sensor stopped working almost immediately, took the truck into a local shop that installed the leveling kit and they calibrated all the sensors but the computer could not see the TSS to calibrate it. So next step was to head to the dealer for warranty fix, assuming they would tell me the issue was changing the grill, so to avoid that I re-installed the OEM Grill and like a miracle the TSS was working 100%. I assumed the issue was with the sensor garnish, although I was assured this wasn't the issue but they were sending me a new one. The new garnish it a two piece part, clear front lense and black mounting plate, although difficult, working slowly I was able to get the two pieces apart (double sided 3M type tape) I reinstalled the new grill with just the black mounting plate, TSS worked fine no errors, put the clear cover which is painted inside back in place and TSS failed immediately. Took the clear cover and removed the paint which turned out to be reflective paint like a mirror has on the back of it, put it back on and the TSS works fine. 100% positive it is the paint that caused the issue. I'll be curious if the new garnish is the same one with the same paint. Bottomline is, it is all 100% working, looks great and the lights make the truck look better
Just posting in case others may encounter issues, I did see a lot of comment about aftermarket garnishes interfering with the TSS
