I have a 23 TRD PRO and I would like to install raptor lights in the grill but the lights I am finding say can not be used in the later OEM PRO grills only the after market PRO grill. Anyone know why or whats the difference between the grills. Thanks for any help.

Don’t think there’s any difference besides the quality of the grille

I know what the OP means , I have the OEM grill because of my TRD lift kit and all the usual companies state in fine print will not work with the newer grills because of the camera and garnish behind grill that is apparently new for last 2? Years

Placement might be different but they should still work even with the camera. I have see someone post about issues with using these and the newest LED headlights on the Pros...?

What? That makes no sense. Lights just go on either side of the camera...

Literally any that say they're for the pro or heritage grill will work. Any.

Not trying to be argumentative but from Tacoma lifestyle web page today , note what it says about newer grills. I emailed them about this and their response was , not sure but it might fit. Thought that was a weak answer and not sure I’ll buy anything from

Just tried installing the Cali Raised LED Raptor Lights on my OEM Pro Trail grill and it wouldn't fit. They seem to be slightly too large to fit.
