Raptor lights or no raptor lights tiz the question

Oh I don't know about you but I survived 2 accidents because of my amber grill leds. Go fix your AC.

 

Hard pass for my build but to each their own.

Ever go on Amazon and notice that the cheap version, no matter what it is, is plastered in LED lights now? Cheap phone charger, lights. Cheap battery jump pack, lights. Cup holder, seat warmer, lights lights. Showerhead, toilet seat? You guessed it.

That's what I see when I see lights in a grille/running board/fender well. Cheap plastic that was designed to activate crow brain with shiny light.

Learn how to drive and you won't need extra "auxiliary fogs" aka raptor lights to alert people IN FRONT of you that you exist

 

Raptor lights are for 19 year old hillbillies that can't make their car payments lol

 

I personally dislike them very much. I’d never have them on my truck.

 

I like them. So there.

 

IF I wanted to emnulate a raptor, I would have purchased a raptor.
Im not hip to the lights in there but to each their own

 

it's your truck, but to me, they scream "pay attention to me!" and I don't want or need that kind of attention.

 

Don't forget to add your fake fender vents.

 

I guess all the full size trucks and semis should listen to you then.

I mean they are huge, why they need amber leds anyway? Its not like we have heavy weather conditions to require more alert, we live in boring weather USA after all..... They can just learn how to drive instead of needing to alert other drives around !

They are all 19 year old and don't know nothing but luckily we have geniuses like you out there!

 

I run a Raptor ‘style’ grill on my wife’s moto van, but even on it I wont run Raptor lights.

 

I've seen some Sprinters with turning signal upgrades on mirrors, pretty sick. OEM doesn't come with it so I assume it takes more than little work to wire that.

just make sure you pair them with the predator steps so i can do a double laugh

 

Maybe it depends on the year or trim. I had a Sprinter before the Transit that had the mirror turn signals from factory.

Sprinter was admittedly much nicer than the Transit.



Edit: sorry to hijack the thread OP. Not for me, but You-do-You as far as Raptor lights go!

 

My basic SR5 V6 SX package. Everyone was like TRD pro grill is needed for leds, and that grill costs like 200$ + based on which one you want, TOYOTA lettering etc.


I purchased leds anyway and shoved them right into my grill, but they only fit to get stuck and stay in corners, unless you want to glue them. I am thinking to get pair of 2 again and put them on third bottom row too.

I never liked raptor rights on Taco because grill is not box shaped like it is on Ford. I personally like when led is following grill shape.

On that sprinter probably could put it in corner of the grill too, not on top row.

Or simply on top of the hood on front and back , but that would probably require some long wiring lol
