i had a crack in the passenger front side of my bed that i did a fiberglass repair on that looked, well like i had patched it with fiberglass. my sister-in-law's father-in-law owns a paint shop and told me he sold this stuff and everyone that buys it loves it. i found a kit on ebay (4 1 liter bottles and hardener and spray gun) for $99 and free shipping. first impressions: its freakin awesome. prep time took a bit, i washed my bed like 3 times (i hadnt washed it in a year or so and there was quite a bit of mud/trash caked in there). I had sanded it when i did the fiberglass about a year ago so i just touched up some spots and wiped everything down with mineral spirits. taped and papered up every(almost good enough little over spray but it comes off with a little rubbing compound on a dirty truck) i did 2 coats(more or less) on the sides and top rail and 3 coats on the tail gate and floor of bed. spray times was about 45 mins. it says 2-3 days light use and 5 days full cure

my regulator was acting kinda funny(couldnt get it to work/go down) and i blew it at close to 90psi they recomend 45-70 but im pretty pleased with the texture. i saw a bunch of guys with jeeps online doing the insides of there rides with it and watched a few videos and thought it cant be that easy but it was.

i had two bottles left over and i am thinking about taking one and doing my fender flares and maybe the lower trim down the sides of my truck also if i can motivate myself to get back in this alabama heat and humidity for a few more hours this week.

[IMG] Hauled a ladder stand bout 80 miles today strapped down in my bed today and got these two lil wear spots. it isn't peeled out like a roll on liner would be. I was halfway expecting a little more damage since it covered my bed bottom.

I did my entire frame and under carriage of my truck with this stuff. Works awesome. Had my truck more than three years and it still holding great. I did it as a preventative measure for the frame rust. As usual I got flack from other members stating that this would allow moisture to build up and hence rust the frame from the inside it. Well I don't see any problems, this this stuff is everything prove, how can moisture penetrate this stuff? Anyways I used the entire four bottles on the frame and under the cab of the truck.

BTW here's a link to my thread when I sprayed this stuff on my frame

Hauled a little lumber and some firewood this past month and no wear to speak of. 3 1/2 months and going strong. I did pull a boat with my tail gate down and it got into it a bit and dented it and some came off there but that's to be expected.

So been a year and the only wear spots to speak of are where the flares meet the body, where i couldnt sand and prep well. Satin black rattle can fixed that but in hind sight i should have taken the flares off and done everything separate. I may get some pics up when and if i wash it
