I have a 2019 Tacoma TRD OR and have recently installed raptor lights. i noticed a few days ago that randomly the lights come on and off when the truck is not running/locked. My main concern is the battery being drained but i would like to know whether i should have other concerns. For reference i used the 10 amp EFI NO.3 as many youtube tutorials suggested. I am open to unplugging it immediately if this can cause more troublesome issues. Looking forward to some feedback.

That may be getting power when the recycle process kicks on, which would explain the random on/off.

You're pulling power from a system critical circuit. If those Raptor lights are cheap Chinese ones (I don't know of any that aren't) I would NOT have them on a critical circuit and in a perfect world, would not be off any existing circuits. Create a new, properly isolated circuit for them. But yes, I would also not use Raptor lights at all either :)

One of these threads say tapping into engine components gives you this condition.
I did that and get the same thing, several hours after parking they may come on for a minute or so,
Once I did see they came on and stayed on too long, so I unlocked the truck and locked it and they went off after a minute.
Runnin4tacos has a wiring harness developed by Meso that taps into the light harness and eliminates this condition.

I made the same mistake. There is an injector fuse and efi injector fuse. Don’t tap into the efi injector fuse or the raptor lights will turn on after the engine had shut down to perform the emission test thing.
