I have a 07 AC TRD OFFROAD SR5 V6 PreRunner 6SPD MANUAL and a hell of a time trying to find that exact setup here in southern california. Took me 3 months of looking everday to find one with a clean title. Was wondering how many of you out there have the same set up. I was told by Tustin Toyota that they no longer offer the v6 prerunner with a 6 spd manual and AC here in southern california region maybe elsewhere in the US? Which boggles my mind because southern california happens to be some of the best offroading in the world and that seems to be the best starter set up.

im not a fan of the quad cab because the bed is too short and looks kinda funny to me and the quad cab "long bed" i hear alot of offroad accesories and trail armor is hard to find for it if not impossible. not to mention a dirt bike fits a little better in the standard be not the short bed. access cab gives me room to recline my seat atleast, opposed to the regualr cab and i love the storage in the back and a V6 manual is fun as hell on the dirt roads around here.

Not to mention my 110 outlet in the bed of my truck and the Bilstein shocks that make the dirt feel like pavement

    10-4 little buddy :D

I understand you completely. I like my crew cab with short bed, but sometimes I'd like to have the standard or longer bed when I haul stuff. Thank G, I have a trailer for that and that way I can keep the scratches off the bed

I never had issues with mine when I had fun with my mistress...although the Taco's stick shift would sometimes get in the way...

Do you know what part number are the stock Bilsteins? I need to find a local Taco with the good billys (5100) and test ride it.

The only thing i remember about my shocks where they were completely white, not sure that is going to help at all but better luck posting that on a seperate thread.

Are auto's better for off roading? I do not offroad, but I'd figure it is a lot better to have it when crawling over big rocks and stuff...What does the off roading community favors?

Real stupid question, but why on earth is there an Off-Road Prerunner?

I mean, does the locker just lock the back 2 wheels? Is there even a locker?

To the OP, no I don't have that combo and don't think I've seen it!

The Off Road 4WD locker also only locks the rear tires... The A-TRAC is an 'automatic locker' for all 4, however.

All Off Road TRDs are also SR5 through 2010... which was dropped for 2011.

Mine is an 06 with 4x4 but otherwise same as yours. I looked for a long time to find one with both TRD and six speed trans.

I believe that most RACE TRUCKS like PreRunners and Baja Trucks are all 2WD or atleast a good chunk of them. I assume lighter = faster. The locker is there just in case you get stuck its definitely not a rock crawler and i have no intention of doing anything like that. Im a go fast on the dirt kinda guy and this truck meets the requirements. if it didnt have the offroad package it would throw you around just like any other FORD or CHEVY.
