When I was looking for my truck, I told the dealer (who had plenty of DCSBs) that I wanted a DCLB. He swore up and down that the DCLB existed in theory, but he had never seen one, and there certainly wasn't one for sale in the state of Ohio. They were, he assured me, the rarest Tacomas in the USA.

So, I left, drove to the dealer in the next town over, and ended up buying the one they had sitting on their lot.

    Ah, dealers. Gotta love 'em.

Because southern dealerships do this. I've seen quite a few in the south.

I think the rarest one I've seen is a 95-97 Single Cab 3.4 manual 4x4.

SRunner's are few and far between now too, I'd take supercharged one of those any day!

I find that used tacomas in general can be hard to find at times around here, especially 4x4. People just don't get rid of their tacomas around here. When I was looking for mine I didn't see any access cabs, all were over $15k, only two had trd, one was the one i bought, and one was a 4x4 for $10k more, but all in all there were only about 8 for sale at the time and onely the one 4x4. But I see them driving everywhere, heck two on my employees have one, and one employee next door has one as well.

I have a 2014 Regular Cab 4x4 Auto. I have seen a couple like mine around here. The most common here in Chicago are TRD OR DCSB & AC right after.

I have yet to see a 2wd double cab and have seen one RC PreRunner.

4x4 access cabs are a very common around here. I've had a few say my 07 is rare... not really sure. It came with a few extras... curtain air bags, dr & fr pass seat side bags, drl's, vsc, trac, hac, and dac.

On the other hand. 4Runner Trails with Nav and KDSS seem to be rare. Had to go 500 miles to find mine and in the 4 years I've had it I've seen less than 10 between the Bay Area and The Puget Sound area.

No, the rarest Tacomas really imo was the 95.5, and the 95.5-97 v6 single cab tacoma 4x4

I think you have a fairly uncommon truck, but not because it's 4x4. But because you have a TRD OffRoad AC.

Alaska at least it seems they're all sports or SR5
