curious if anyone is running one of these?

I am considering purchasing one in hopes it will free up my laptop.

Currently I have my main PC with 6TB's of video files and music. Over LAN I use a laptop to play the content through home sharing. Laptop is HDMI to my TV.

    questions:
can it handle the big files? 1080i, bluray, 10gb files. (biggest i have is 5 but future expansion)

seems like from the reading I can do the same process I am now, but have to use some addon programs, so I assume it is similar to the XBMC I used on a HTPC in the past?

I had problems with PS3/4 & XBMC stopping certain content from being played, i cannot recall the name of the error, but you probably know what i mean. does the RP2B have this issue?

would love live feed/cam of someone doing streaming from a PC to it.

Confused.... RPi is hardware... XBMC (now Kodi) is software.
    People run Kodi on RPi

excuse my ignorance, RPi runs Kodi. Is the hardware good enough to process high qual files?
Does Kodi restrict media playback by licenses?

Sorry, I don't know the answers to your questions for certain. I researched a bit and I think I'm going to go with a Wetek android box for my next Kodi player.
I think Raspberry Pi might not be quite up to the task. As for licenses, are you referring to files that require HDCP? I don't know a lot about that either, but I kind of thought it had been mostly done away with as it was cracked shortly after it came out.
