Hey guys. Just picked up my tacoma yesterday and posted up in the newb sections, but there doesn't seem to be much activity there. So I guess I'll introduce my self here too. Just picked up a 97 Tacoma V6 5spd SR5 with 218K on the clock. Drives great but I'm getting a raspy noise in pretty much every gear but first in the low RPMs. It levels out if I don't accelerate so hard but it's pretty noticeable. A member on another forum thinks it could be the exhaust baffles if mine is still stock. Anyone else have a thought on what it could be? I've also got no idea when the timing belt and water pump were last replaced so I'll probably end up doing it sooner than later for piece of mine. Is taking the timing cover off to look at the belt a big deal? Oh and does anyone have a favorite stock size tire?

    Thanks ahead.
