    I looked back to Nov 19, 2016, looking for a thread suggesting a way to store ratchet straps. Didn't find it. I have several ratchet straps that need attention. Any suggestions?

    That would work, but the thread I mentioned talked about a way to wrap them up so they were neat and not a mess.

    this is literally the only use I've found for the cheap harbor freight ammo cans. they ride behind the back seat. I do keep one in the bed side cargo cubby so I don't have to dig through the truck if I just need one.

    That is interesting. The thread I mentioned did it differently. It used the ratchet mechanism to tighten the bundle.
