Just installed a 6in RC lift on my 08 double cab, 5ft bed, 4x4.

im happy with the quality of the lift and all but one problem! It’s got a bad squat in the rear. 1.5 inch difference.

I have gone over threads, videos and so on.

all this said do I need new leaf springs? Saw no cracks or bad damage, pads still look decent.

3/1 pack if I’m understanding correctly

I’m just baffled why it’s so low in the rear.

if they are in fact fine or good, should I get the 5in blocks and call it a day? Or AAL?

getting sumo springs as a bonus for whatever route I need to go.

    RC aren't the best quality.

Most 6" lifts that I do are 2-3" block with an add-a-leaf.

That mega block in the rear won't do you any favours.

They look like they're on their way out. Is that with or without any load in the rear?

Anything you add to them will be a bandaid solution.

Best option will be a full leaf pack replacement. Toss the shitty Toyota leafs in the trash where they belong.

As far as bang for your buck not a bad setup in my opinion but I’m far from a mechanic. Plus customer service has been good so far. That’s what I got so here we are. Just don’t want that squat. Trying to rule out anything that’s causing it.

That’s under the trucks own weight. Nothing in the bed.

New leaf packs will be the best option.

They look a little low but you could still chain a bike to them
