    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
Put in a side rail of some sort across the three ends so it will spread out the load better if it’s large, or you can mount stuff to the side of it (awning, WaterPort, antenna, etc), and give it a more finished look. Here’s what I did to finish mine using the same type of three bars as yours and a Prinsu for inspiration:

It's not the size of the rack that matters... wait, maybe it is.

I disagree. I don’t think Jeff has ever seen a real boob in his life.

Just FYI - I purchased a Ocean Kayak Prowler 15 recently and wasn't sure if the factory rack was worthy.. not so much the weight but the cantilevers... drives on Oahu are not long, but doing 50 over the Koolau's and it was very stable. I've historically used a bed rack, but this seems to work. The Kayak is 91lbs - 15' long. Rack pads yes.

Good to know. How much movement are you seeing in the kayak?

Saltwater fishing is something I don’t get a lot of in a land locked state

I was a little concerned about the length @15ft. as the Tacoma is 17'6" , but widest part of the beam is within the cab and the straps grab most of the girth. its tight. so far so good... I really should of snapped a profile picture. next time. aloha
