Rattle behind the wheel!

    Kicker 5 channel amp, pioneer shallow mount 10.
    I only found one similar post and it was a 2nd gen and a different problem so hopefully this wont be a repeat. Around 40mph i get a vibration/rattle just behind the steering wheel. I have firestone m/t's and i believe this problem would occur a lot less without them do to the rougher ride. When the rattle starts i can pull or push real hard on the wheel to make it quit! I am going to loose my mind so please help!

    I have this problem I think too, but only sometimes. I thought originally it was coming from the dash near the Windshield, then the kick panel, but I think mine is coming from behind the steering wheel as well, I am also about to go crazy :mad:

    same thought process as me... if i cant find a solution there is going to be a full can of WD-40 back there!!!

    Mine ended up being on the side of the dash and in the trim below the steering wheel, I shoved foam tape in the and it hasn't rattled since.
