    Often times our problems are self inflicted. But being persistent and correcting them is how we learn. You'll likely never make that error again!

    Good stuff.

    See you are in New England. I suggest a pre-winter and post winter servicing of the brakes on all four corners. What I mean is cleanup, inspection and lubrication of all points that should be lubed, like slider pins, pad backs, star adjusters, etc. A little PM will keep the corrosion at bay, and keep you both safer and provide easier major maintenance in the future.

    When I tightened the caliper last night, I pulled both sets of pads from the front, re-lubed the edges and slide pins and cleaned everything up. So, I think between that and the drums I'm in good shape now!

    The drums being adjusted correctly definitely made a difference in how the brake pedal feels.
