Rattle noise at idle

while youre poking around, check the condition of the drive shaft carrier bearing

 

Hey everyone,

I haven’t had much time to hunt down the issue, I got married this week! I did however come across a video after searching for timing chain slap and found the exact noise my truck is making..

Next chance I get, I think I’ll go ahead and do a timing chain kit. Thanks all for the help!

 

Hey! did you do the timing belt/solve your issue? I'm having something similar when idling in the cold.. only 159k on mine
