I had a rattle that was driving me crazy and I SWORE it was coming from the dash....turned out to be my sunglasses in the little holder thingy above the rearview....no joke. I actually got that fix suggestion from TW!

I had the same issue, I removed center head unit...nothing loose, removed the left side speaker cover...nothing loose, and removed the glove box...nothing loose! What I found was in the passenger wheel well was loose mud flap tabs, the one's to hold the rubber flap to the frame, keeping mud from the engine compartment. Removed tabs and wrapped duct tape around them then reinserted them into the rubber mud flap and frame. Clicking sound gone!!

Worst one I had, a socket got loose in the rear underseat storage where it worked it's way between the plastic and floorboard.

Rattled like a ball bearing on a china plate. But if I opened the storage box, everything looked secure. Drive me nuts for three days before I started disassembling the interior trying to find it.

I noticed my 2020 has a rattle when I hit bumps, manholes and such. Went away when my girlfriend rode with me. Goes away with any pressure down on the seat, you can put your hand down on it and it will stop it. My guess is it's the heated seat, like a pressure plate that turns it on? Or maybe for the seatbelt dinger. Anyways doesn't bother me now that I found it. Try holding your hand down on the passenger seat

Thank you! Imma go see if that’s the issue! I just got it back from the dealer so far no more rattle. He said everything that he could think of he tightened and so hopefully they fixed it!

I had a rattle coming from the passenger side interior for a while, eventually I ripped out the stupid plastic shelf inside the glovebox and the noise disappeared.

Mine will occasionally rattle for a few minutes then it'll stop and I'll forget about it. Usually will come from the glove box and the passenger side speaker

mine rattles from the overhead console (i don't have the sunglass holder there) when it's cold. when it happens and i push up on it the rattle goes away. Anybody had this issue or know what it could be under the panel? thanks!

Could it just be a dash rattle? That brushed silver plastic piece on the front of my dash rattles now after one too many washboard roads

These engine splash guards were an issue on my 4Runner, too. Gorilla tape to the frame kept them quiet for three years.

The panel pieces for the window control on mine was put on loosely on both doors. Gave a little push down, heard a click into place, and all the rattling stopped.

same here. Did the penny mod (penny between the dash and A pillar) worked for a month. That eventually fell in so I switched to a nickel. The no longer works.

I deal with it from October to June.

I've seen posts on here about using toothpicks and tape to get rid of that. I'll give it a shot soon (finally getting warm enough to want to work on the truck outside) and see how long it lasts.

It was a small extender that I was using on the 10mm, actually.

I used to brag that I havent lost a 10 yet, but then I dropped one in the engine bay a few months ago. Took me a day and a half to find it, but I eventually recovered that little bastard.

On one of my Tundras, it was the havac vent rubbing on the underside of the dash. Put a piece of insulation in between there and no more rattle.
