I have had a dickens of a time with an annoying buzz/rattle when the Taco is cold. I took it to the dealer 3 times and they couldn't find it. Seemed to be up under the passengers feet and was rather loud until the truck warmed up. I had a friend tell me his did that sometimes and that the dealer had torn the whole dash apart. Well my friends I'm here to tell you that I found it and fixed it temporarily with a pit of old fashioned baling wire and a sponge. The noise comes from where the cold air intake passes through the fender shroud, they must have forgotten a gasket or something there. I lifted it up of the bottom with the sponge and tied it in place with the wire--- no more buzz. I will come up with a better fix in the spring. If anyone has the same problem let me know

Funny, mine is on the drivers side. I've narrowed it down to the upper dash left corner near the window. Mostly when cold. Man should let the japs make our trucks again. The quality is starting to slip. Probably a loose bolt holding my dash together...

Maybe they should. There are other threads about putting sealer between the dash and the window. Check it out

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one with that problem! Although, I suspect my buzzing is coming from somewhere behind the glove box. I have taken the glove box out and pushed around on some wires; I haven't noticed the sound since. I'll check the air intake next if it's not one of the wire bundles.

Lifesaflaw123 made a little tutorial, and if im understanding this correctly, its just some wires tapping vigorously around behind the dash right below the airbag
