i think one of the harder things is that i have been there a about 10 and a half years now............and even though i have done alot for the company....my work ethic and all, they are still being asses since i have been out with my injury. no pleasing them......at all. hopefully though, things will get better.

Hang in there dude, you'll be back in the groove in no time. Almost all employers are like that.

With our economy taking a dump like it has, I'm glad you have a job to go back to after your surgery.

oh yeah, thats one thing im very glad of....to have my job still!!! they are cutting hours and all at work, and i heard when i get back, they lay off a couple of the new guys(which really sucks for those guys in times like this) and cut some more hours. it may give me a little time in the woods during the week if they plan it right.

Hunted for 3 hours before work today. Wow the bucks are on the move. Called in three little bucks,(2 forkhorns) and seen 1 small doe. Couldn't get one of the little guys to leave the area. When he would get well out of my vision, I would start calling again and he would come back. At one point I snort/wheezed at him and he still tried to keep finding me..........

Not going back till Saturday when all the big cannons get unleashed!

heres my story for the day......i got into my blind early before sunrise. i sat there in the cold and rain for 12 hours. during that time i rattled, called, snorted, grunted, and somehow managed to spill deer piss all over myself. i didnt see a damn deer and i'm not happy about it since i was sitting in "the best spot out there". damnit!!!

Well let's hope by Monday someone has some great news with pic's.
glad to hear that the movement here has been hopping. Rain is suppose to let off some time Friday, may get things moving hot during the daylight hours.

Checked the local check stations around here, seen a pic of a super nice big one, was pumped for the guy who shot it until I heard the property is one of those high fence set-ups.
So much for free range :(

im not real sure i'd actually be able to hunt one of those places man. i'd rather hunt in the great wide open...than some enclosed palce that the deercant really go anywhere on.

I drilled out my peep sight hole to make it bigger this put less strain on your eye and helps to see past pins at night!!

I practice instinctive shooting every now and then. For shots under 20yards. Try it sometime, you can do it with a compund. May have to wait till before next season though. Just takes a little practice. Leave both eyes open, and keep your head vertical.:)
