I replaced my front rotors and pads with brembo blanks and carbotech pads a few months ago and have noticed this last month that there is a constant rattle coming from my drivers side when I hit any type of bump (I live in the bay area so I hit one every few seconds) and I believe it's from my brake pads.

If I drive over center divider bumps it rattles a sh*t ton, but if I go over the same bumps with my foot slightly on the brakes the noise completely disappears.

Here's a quick video of the setup, attempting to show the brake pad movement: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aTwMdpxJtytY5yHesoG59-dwPUAa8i63/view?usp=sharing

One thing to note: I know there is a rattling clip near the bottom of the pads. It looks like it was possibly installed wrong or backwards (like its rubbing on the rotor). That said, I've since flipped it around with the metal not rubbing at all, and in either scenario I still get the rattle.

Any suggestions to cut out the rattle?

There are stainless steel shims between the pad and caliper pistons. They can rattle and obviously when pedal pressure is applied they get squeezed together and the rattle stops. I put brake anti squeak on both sides of the shims and the back of the pads and have not had any issues.

Make sure everything is tight including your brake lines. Lube everything up with brake grease including the backs of the pads/shims/pins.

I had a takeoff thunk that I cured with a second set of anti rattle clips on the top pins.

Did you use the same clips on the top as you did the bottom? I'd like to get just the clips but looks like I might have to get a kit with the pins, etc.

Yes. Same ones as on top. Raybestos and a few other sell sets of just clips.
